Burwood Motorsports is proud to announce Baker Labels as an official sponsor of Roman Curtis, marking an exciting new partnership between a respected Brentwood business and one of the UK’s most promising young karting talents.
The deal has been facilitated by Burwood Motorsports, a specialist business created to scout and support young karting talent while bridging the vital funding gap that often holds grassroots drivers back. Through tailored sponsorship and marketing packages, Burwood Motorsports connects ambitious young racers with businesses that want to increase brand visibility, support local talent and make a genuine impact in the community. The 12-month sponsorship will support Roman as he continues to develop his racing career, gain experience in kart-owner competition and build on an already impressive junior karting record.
Roman recently visited Baker Labels with Alby Saunders, his parents and his kart, allowing Steve, Harry and Tom Baker to meet him in person, hear more about his ambitions, and begin preparations for the new Baker Labels branding to appear on his kart.
For Burwood Motorsports, this partnership is an important example of what can happen when local businesses choose to back young sporting talent at the stage where support can make a real difference.
Roman has already achieved a significant amount at a young age. He is a multiple Brentwood Championship winner and, in 2025, finished 7th overall at the Sodi World Series World Finals in Malaga, Spain, competing against some of the best junior drivers in the world. He has also passed his Motorsport UK ARKS test as he continues his progression within the sport.
Baker Labels’ support reflects more than a logo on a kart. It represents belief in young people, grassroots sport, ambition and community-led opportunity. Their sponsorship aligns closely with Burwood Motorsports’ mission to bridge the gap between young racing talent and businesses willing to help them advance.
